The lancha tour with Douglas was the standout for us. It leaves from the pousada, costs R$ 200, and lasts 7h. Douglas was very friendly and attentive. I asked other people who’d taken tours with tourism companies, and theirs weren’t as complete as this one. It’s a real plus that you can leave right from the pousada without having to travel elsewhere. The pool also has a great view, and you can go stand up on the lake. The pousada is beautiful, and it makes you feel like you’re rich 😂 The pool is gorgeous and breakfast was wonderful. Service was very good, especially from Matheus, who was super friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, maybe even a little wet when we first went in. One thing to know: ask for a room facing the lake. My mother had one facing the highway and couldn’t sleep, so they need to invest in better soundproofing. Dinner was another disappointment. We were told it was only served on weekends, but I saw someone eating it on a Monday. When I tried to get dinner on other weekdays, I couldn’t, which upset me.

There are a couple of good things: the rooms are modern and have air conditioning, and breakfast was good. But the stay had a lot of problems. The ramp down to the reservoir is loose dirt or gravel, not concrete all the way to the water as the photos suggest. A car that isn’t 4x4 can get stuck. The inn has just one umbrella, so if someone else has it, you’re left either sitting in the sun all day or going back to your room for shade. The deck and tables also need more frequent cleaning. There was construction during peak season, when I stayed in January. Workers around the pool took away any privacy, and there was noise from a Makita, a sledgehammer, and the like. The gate stayed open practically all day, leaving the pool exposed and making the place feel neither secure nor private. I brought a jetski, and it was exposed to anyone with bad intentions. I went out for lunch and came back to find the gate open with nobody nearby, so anyone could drive in and take the jetski. Food is limited to breakfast, with no portions or even simple snacks, so you have to go out if you want to eat. The receptionist, Elisangela, was very curt and didn’t welcome guests as she should. It felt as if we were staying there as a favor instead of paying. The place needs more effective, experienced management and staff who are more polite and welcoming.

We stayed at Pousada Noah in Capitólio – MG for more than 12 days, and loved it so much that my brother and sister-in-law came to spend a weekend with us. The view is beautiful and peaceful, the rooms are very cozy, and the whole place felt like home in a paradise-like setting. The cleaning was impeccable, the kitchen and housekeeping staff were lovely, and breakfast was delicious. Elizângela looked after us from our first contact and was always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Matheus, who is at the pousada 24 hours a day, was unfailingly polite and helpful, always in a great mood. The drinks by the pool were delicious, and on our last day we left at 5 a.m. He made a point of preparing a special breakfast for us, including wonderful coffee. When we return to Capitólio, we’ll definitely choose Pousada Noah again. 💙✨

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and I was treated well throughout my stay. Pousada Noah has a lovely outdoor area and modern rooms, while the pool looks out over the reservoir and is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was very good, and there were lots of drink options. I had an excellent stay and will definitely return.

It’s a peaceful pousada, great for getting some rest, with excellent service and large, very clean rooms. Our ground-floor veranda looked out over part of the lake, and the heated pool was great. The location is excellent, with easy access along the route to Furnas and Capitólio. I highly recommend it.
