Pousada Recanto das Vertentes

Priscila was a real bright spot. She was polite, very helpful, and always did what she could for us. The room was good, small, clean, smelled nice, and everything worked perfectly. There was construction next door and no soundproofing, but it didn’t bother us. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., but the selection was a little disappointing. There weren’t many choices, and quantities didn’t always cover everyone. They had yogurt every day, but only 4 to 6 servings for more guests. Other items ran out without being replenished. One morning the pamonha was very good, but again there were fewer than the number of guests. The mini sandwiches were tasty too, but they kept running out, so not everyone got one. It was nice that they left coffee, cookies, and cheese breads out in the afternoon. The poolside area slopes unevenly, so water pools there. In the morning, before heading out on tours, I’d try to sit on a lounger and couldn’t avoid getting my feet wet. It’s fine if you’re swimming, but not if you just want to catch some sun before leaving.

The staff made us feel right at home, and the place was clean and smelled lovely all day. A special thanks to Renato, who was so attentive throughout our stay, especially with our electric car. He figured out a way for us to charge it. The women on staff were kind, friendly, and helpful too. Breakfast was wonderful, and they leave coffee and little biscuits out all day. I’ll definitely come back!

We stayed from 16/12/25 to 18/125, and were very happy with our time at Recanto das Verdentes. I brought an electric vehicle, and Renato, the owner, arranged a suitable outlet so I could charge it. The rooms were great, we used two of them, and the heated pool was lovely. Breakfast was very good, and the women working there provided great service. Nothing to complain about, we’re very happy we stayed. A thousand out of ten.

We stayed over Easter and had a perfect time. Capitólio is an incredible city, with beautiful nature and amazing waterfalls. The pousada was well organized and cozy, with comfortable pillows and mattresses, good rooms, and a heated pool in a pleasant space. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean, and they recommended tours and places to eat.
