The resident cats were a lovely touch. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cleanliness stood out too: my room, the linens, and all the shared areas were spotless. Highly recommend!

The host was very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay work, including sorting out parking, a flexible breakfast time, and checkout. Just keep in mind that bed linen and AC are extra. Highly recommend.

We stayed from Monday to Friday and everything went smoothly. Room 1 had recently been renovated, so things felt new and clean. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable and clean, with anti-allergy covers, which I found very hygienic. Wi-Fi worked well in the room, though you have to enter your own password on the TV for whatever you want to watch. I was there with my husband and two children, and it felt family-friendly, with other couples and families with kids around. The pool isn’t very big, but the children had fun, and it can be used until 9 p.m. The shared kitchen has everything, though I didn’t find it very clean. There’s no parking, but it was fine to leave the car on the quiet street. Martim de Sá beach is walkable, though it’s a bit of a trek, or about five minutes by car.

Sueli, who runs the place, was so helpful and attentive. The guesthouse is tidy, clean, and welcoming, and my husband and I had a great experience there. We’ll definitely be back!
