Pousada Gotam

Really good 👍

The room was a little small, but we had a great stay at this cozy, peaceful inn. Sr. César and Dona Ivete were attentive and polite, just lovely. Thanks for letting us have a barbecue. Sending hugs and wishing you success! We’d like to come back soon.

We had a horrible experience here. We were staying for one night over the holiday, September 7, a Thursday, with our booking ending at noon on Friday. We planned to spend the day at the beach and come back late Friday, so we asked if we could use the shower to wash the sand off before heading up. The person in charge seemed helpful and, without us even asking, said we could also use the pool. We went to the beach and returned as agreed. While the others waited outside for lunch, I got into the pool. Then the same person who had said it was okay showed up and abruptly made us leave, giving some pretty flimsy excuses. There’d be no issue with not letting us use the facilities after our paid stay ended, but offering it and then suddenly taking it back was really uncomfortable. The day before, the treatment had been quite different when we were buying clothes in their shop inside the property. It seemed to depend a lot on whether they had an interest in you.

We stayed last weekend and found it peaceful, clean, and good value, with a nice location. Breakfast was good, and the pool was clean when we were there. It kept my kids entertained. I recommend it.
