The photos I asked for before the trip showed only the outside of the inn. Once we arrived, we got room 14, a double, and I felt like I was in a cell. The mildew smell hit my allergies right away. The room was filthy and dusty, the bathroom was dirty too, with urine and hair in the toilet. There were cobwebs, moths and cockroaches, and I killed five little spiders. The ceiling was falling apart, the mirrors were grimy, and the toilet was broken and uneven, with roaches coming out underneath it. The fan and air conditioner were covered in dust, the mattress was thin, and the sheets and curtains were so dirty they felt stiff. The bathroom smelled strongly of sewage. There was exposed, improvised wiring that made me worry about a fire. I was half expecting a scorpion to show up. I spent almost 50 reais at the market on cleaning products and mothballs to keep the roaches away, then had to clean the place myself because it was impossible to stay in there otherwise. I complained to the excursion organizer, who couldn't have cared less, and lost a customer. What was meant to be a nice trip turned into a nightmare. I couldn't wait to get home. If you're renting a place out, you need to look after basic hygiene. Even public places are cleaner. I wouldn't go back even for a free week.

I remember when this inn used to be able to host people properly, so seeing it in this state is really sad. It feels abandoned and run down, yet the prices are like those of places that are maintained and clean. The pool was the only thing that seemed normal, but we didn't dare get in. There was trash and dust everywhere, makeshift electrical wiring, holes and peeling paint on the bedroom walls, and a bad smell in the rooms. Cockroaches and silverfish came out of the bathroom drain when we showered. The fan and air conditioner were so dusty we were afraid to turn them on and risk breathing problems. The kitchen was extremely dirty, dark and grimy, and impossible to use. The lounge was so dim it gave a bad impression, and after dark the whole inn was pitch black. This no longer feels like a family place. It seems more suited to drunk or drugged people who don't notice these problems or check reviews before visiting. I'm truly sorry to see this horror show.
