Nat and her husband are so welcoming, and we felt at home in this cozy, private stay. We loved the delicious breakfast and could walk to the little boat crossing in 10 minutes. We were both enchanted and would happily return. If you like having a TV in your room, keep in mind that most places in Caraiva don’t have one. Also, don’t take the Monte Paschoal road, it’s in extremely bad shape with lots of potholes. A small soap would have been a nice extra, but that’s a minor detail.

The best part of our stay was Nati and Leo. They were so welcoming, thoughtful, and available that we felt comfortable from the start, and our conversations made saying goodbye hard. We left with warm hearts and a real wish to return. The chalet itself is simple, cozy, and very well cared for, just what we were looking for in Caraíva. We’re grateful for the stay and highly recommend it.

Nati, the owner, always makes us feel welcome and does everything she can to keep guests comfortable. The place is very well equipped, the air conditioning gets really cold, and the rooms are perfect. Breakfast is wonderful too. A great choice.

After a rough trip over Morro do Pascoal, be careful and look for another route, we were lucky to find Naty’s lodging in Caraíva. They welcomed us warmly, and the place was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was wonderful and as complete as it could be. The chalet is close to the boat crossing, which takes about 3 minutes, to reach the bars and restaurants.
