The rooms were very average, service was poor, calls went unanswered, and the front desk was rather uncooperative. It didn’t represent the excellent Brazilian hospitality standards. Their reply to this review contains incorrect statements. They say I liked the place, but I didn’t, and that isn’t for them to decide. I left without complaining, though I still consider it a very average pousada. They were extremely uncooperative about recovering an item someone in our group had forgotten. They didn’t answer my calls and eventually stopped replying to my very polite messages. I never threatened to leave a bad review. I only wrote one after I had to send someone to collect the item at considerable cost because nobody was responding anymore. Now they’re busy taking revenge on my accounts because I left a negative review. Bad, bad.

A really lovely stay. The pousada is small, with only a few rooms, and breakfast is made to order each morning, with something different each day. The staff are wonderful.

We booked for 3 nights and wound up staying a whole week, so that says a lot. The room was super clean, breakfast was perfect, and the staff were so kind. And the beach is really close. Can’t wait to come back!!!! ✨🩵

I stayed at Pousada Da Praia for three nights in February 2023, and the ocean views from its spot right on the beach were breathtaking. The rooms felt spacious and had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and luxurious linens that made for a great night’s sleep. They were clean and well appointed too. The breakfast buffet was one of my favorite parts, with plenty of tasty options, fresh fruit, suco de cacau, and my favorite, tapiocas. The staff made the stay feel special from the start: the receptionist greeted me warmly, and the waitstaff remembered my name and preferences. Everyone I met was friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about making things enjoyable. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable. It was an unforgettable stay, and I can’t recommend Pousada Da Praia highly enough for a romantic getaway or a relaxing vacation. I can’t wait to return.
