Pousada Corais Do Sul

We came to Caraíva to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were warmly welcomed at the pousada. The room was quiet, the bed soft, and the air conditioning worked great. It’s well located, close to good restaurants and the sea. Breakfast was great too, with a good choice of fruit, quiche, pie, and cake. We can’t wait to return and bring our daughters so they can enjoy Caraíva.

I liked the photos and comments about the pousada, but after booking a room I got a message saying my card details needed updating. I contacted the pousada and got terrible service. The person who answered wouldn’t identify themselves and showed no interest in sorting out the problem, so I ended up cancelling the reservation. Maybe I was just unlucky, or the staff member was having a really bad day. What a shame.

Our stay was great, and the service was excellent. The rooms were comfortable, with a very good bed and air conditioning. Breakfast was tasty, with tapioca and scrambled eggs made to order, fresh juices, fruit, and a little cake for the afternoon. The room was cleaned every day and always smelled fresh and looked spotless. The pousada is beautiful and full of plants. Its location is great too, very close to the sea and near the river, as well as close to the famous green house of Caraíva Republic. Great value for money.

A simple but good pousada, and I recommend it. The service was good and attentive, and breakfast was good. The room had air conditioning and wifi, but no TV. It’s well located for anyone who wants a bit more peace and quiet, while still being within easy reach of the village center.
