Pousada Recanto das ¿rvores - Nova Cara¿

We had a wonderful view from our excellent suite, surrounded by lots of greenery. Breakfast was perfect, and there was nothing to complain about. Seu Alan and dona Nani were exceptional, welcoming us with such warmth and kindness. We're grateful for all the care we received at the inn.

The team provided really good service, and the rooms were breezy, with views of the trees, fans, air conditioning, curtains, TVs, and minibars. This is a comfortable pousada with good prices before you cross the Caraiva River. It has furnished houses for families, and breakfast is included in most daily rates, though it depends on the booking. The location is good, about 1 km from the canoe crossing, just before the village entrance, but already in Caraíva, the place everyone is looking for.

We booked through Booking and paid by credit card for the lower rate advertised for December 24 to 29. After taking payment, they emailed to say they would cancel because we hadn't paid in advance. I contacted them on WhatsApp, and they said there had been a calendar problem and asked us to cancel. Now the Booking price has doubled, even though they had also quoted the lower amount on WhatsApp. We lost our reservation, and if we book again for the same dates, we'd have to pay the much higher rate now listed. They didn't respond or resolve anything. I don't recommend them. I think they changed their mind about the advertised rate and used a calendar problem as an excuse to get us to cancel.

The Recanto Das Árvores felt like a home to us while we were there, and we’re deeply grateful. Alan and Irene were such warm, attentive hosts, with sincere smiles and huge hearts. We’ll keep them in our hearts, from Maria and Val. Everything was clean, peaceful, and well organized, with excellent accommodations and new facilities. We also appreciated their friendliness and all the information they shared about the area, its culture and art. Those tips helped us make the most of the days we spent at Recanto Das Árvores and in Caraíva. It was one of the best homes we’ve enjoyed on any of our trips. We hope God gives us the chance to come back someday. Recanto Das Árvores is a beautiful home in paradise.
