The place was disappointing. My room hadn’t been prepared when I arrived, and the towels, sheets, and blankets smelled strongly of cat. There was hardly any toilet paper, so I had to ask for more. It was also quite noisy because of the location. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The service and facilities were awful. A group of friends and I had the misfortune of staying here in Caraíva. I arrived exhausted and wanted a plain coffee, but they didn’t even offer that. It rained every day, and our room leaked too. The shower gave us shocks when we turned it on or off. Breakfast took over an hour to arrive because someone was absent and there was no backup plan. We raised the problems with one of the owners, along with guests in the room next door. He listened with a mocking look and replied, “That’s how it is in Bahia.” We left two days before the end of our reservation and moved to another inn. Locals in Caraíva told us this place is considered the worst in town. They did absolutely nothing to make guests feel cared for or welcome. I usually choose simple places, as long as they make me feel comfortable, but that wasn’t the case here. This was the worst inn I’ve ever stayed at. Avoid it. There are many others that are much better for the same price.
