Priscila and Diego were lovely, kind, and attentive hosts. Since we had six rainy days in a row in Caraíva, they offered us a larger room, which was great. The women working there were very friendly too, and made a delicious breakfast. The inn is simple and cozy, in a great spot. A street across from it goes straight to the beach, and it’s next door to the village’s best restaurant. It’s close to lots of conveniences but still quiet, a little away from the bars and restaurants by the river and the square, which are also nearby. I did a lot of research before choosing Pousada Solar and compared it carefully with other places in a similar price range. It had a great rating here and on Booking, and I can confirm it really is very good. I loved my stay and highly recommend it. Spending nearly a week there in the rain and still feeling comfortable and well looked after says a lot. Whether it rains or shines in Caraíva, you’ll feel at home here.

Priscila and Diego were incredibly attentive and had lots of helpful tips. The location is close to everything, but far enough from the bustle and louder noise. Breakfast was fresh, made to order, and high quality without being over the top. The bathroom was great, with a nice hot shower, which we appreciated during the chilly weather in Caraíva. The inn as a whole is excellent. I highly recommend it!

We had a lovely two days at this charming inn, just near the street where you can take the classic photo of the little house when arriving in Caraíva. Priscila is so warm and wonderful. Our room was spacious and very clean, and breakfast was delicious, with everything made fresh to order. I loved the stay 😊

The location is really good, and the team is great. My room was small but cute, and the bathroom had been renovated. The shower was the one downside, with very little water coming out.

I spent four days in the couple’s suite 4, and the room was airy with great light thanks to its high ceiling. It had a minibar, a new air conditioner, cable TV, and a large bathroom, and was very clean. The accommodations and location were both perfect. Breakfast was great, and I recommend ordering the scrambled eggs with all the ingredients, they’re amazing ❤️
