I met Fernando as soon as I arrived, and he took me around the property for a tour. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, high on the mountain but easy to reach, with an amazing view, lots of greenery, birds, and fruit. There are lovely waterfalls nearby, and above all, wonderful people. I also got to meet Jorge, who runs the production of excellent craft cachaça made right there on the property. A perfect place to relax, spend time with someone, or get away for the weekend.

I wouldn't recommend this guesthouse. The garden is lovely, but the stay was very poor. It's a little far from town, restaurants, attractions, and other places. The listing showed one room, but the room we got was completely different. The final 1-2 km of road to the property was in terrible shape, worse than the roads to the waterfalls. Our room had no fan, poor lighting, no minibar, and was inside the owner's house. The bathroom tiles were peeling, there was no shower enclosure, and the drain was clogged. Breakfast was very basic.

Jorge and Magna are a wonderful couple who make you feel like friends. The place is simple, peaceful, and really cozy, and the welcome was lovely. I enjoyed my stay a lot, recommend it, and plan to return. ❤❤❤❤❤

What a lovely, upbeat place, and the staff are so attentive and helpful. It's also great for birdwatching. Next time I'm in Carrancas, I'll definitely stay at this little paradise.

The hosts were very welcoming, which matters a lot. The accommodations were comfortable, the place was peaceful, and the flower garden and scenery were beautiful. Breakfast had that lovely country smell. There are waterfalls nearby too. I recommend it.
