We stayed at Lira on August 23 and 24 and felt right at home again. The welcome and breakfast were lovely, and the evenings had a nice chill, around 19 degrees. My wife and I were very happy with our stay, and we'll definitely come back.

Calling for information was a frustrating experience. The attendant seemed very reluctant to tell me the prices, with so little willingness to help. How are you supposed to plan a trip if the person answering the phone won't share basic information?

The place was clean, spacious, and well located, and the breakfast was excellent. I also got a really warm welcome. This was the best stay I could have had in Caruaru!

The owner was always helpful and attentive, and the hostel has such a warm, welcoming feel. My room and the bathrooms were spotless, and the place really does make you feel at home. I had a wonderful stay at Lira Hostel. Congrats to everyone there. I'd recommend it without hesitation, and I can't wait to return.
