My father-in-law, who is from Bezerros, and my mother-in-law wanted to go home because their room looked exactly as they had left it that morning. I also found the three rooms I rented unchanged the next day when we were leaving. At reception, I was told they were sorry they hadn't explained that rooms aren't cleaned unless you ask or leave a notice on the door. They also said that, under their security policy, they'd clean a room if requested. I don't understand the warning about security, or whether something could go missing at my risk. The breakfast had been confirmed as good, and the staff were polite and attentive, but this was the worst experience. You need to speak Portuguese there. No one speaks another language, not English or Spanish, apart from maybe some other person. If you don't speak Portuguese and need the hotel for business or a family reunion, you're out of luck. I don't recommend this hotel at all. I paid for the most expensive hotel in Caruaru to make a good impression on my family, and it was the opposite. Thank you, hotel. I have high expectations for speaking with the manager tomorrow and finding out how he resolves this.
