Controvento Boutique Hotel

We had such a lovely stay at Controvento Boutique hotel. The rooms and places to relax were lovely, the breakfast was good, and the shared spaces have a really fun design. The dogs wandering around add to the charm, and the beach is right next door. There’s a place to dry your kite gear, and we had a wonderful massage. A really unique experience. A couple of things could be improved: it would’ve been nice to have shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the rooms. When we asked, they did give us shampoo and soap. Also, they don’t take credit cards, so keep that in mind when checking out.

The beach is just a few steps away, and it’s a fantastic spot for yoga. The hosts are super lovely and accommodating. Everything you could need is here, and breakfast was so good, with nothing missing. Best guesthouse ever.

The location is hard to beat, with the beach just a minute’s walk away. My room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and full of natural light. Mornings began with a healthy, delicious breakfast made with fresh ingredients, and the yoga sessions in their peaceful setting helped me reconnect with myself. From the moment I arrived, the owners and staff were genuinely kind and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The place has such a calm, positive energy that I felt grounded right away. Even the sweet, gentle dogs add to the warmth. Controvento Boutique Hotel feels full of care in every detail, and I can’t wait to come back 🧘🌿🌊💛

Nicolas and his wife are friendly, relaxed, and funny. The place looks amazing and is very clean, with a short, safe walk to the city center. I’d recommend a room by the pool, so you can hear the main road.
