Sadly, the downsides outweighed the good parts, especially for the price of the stay. It's a hotel with potential, but management needs to change to fix these problems. I hadn't realized Manacá was a private reservation and not part of the hotel itself, Kariri. That caused disappointment when we couldn't handle things directly at reception or use the breakfast served to the other guests. Manacá's breakfast was the saddest I've had at a hotel. We couldn't choose what to eat or serve ourselves. Instead, their set menu came on a tray, with the food wrapped in plastic, which really took away its freshness. After that experience, we went elsewhere for breakfast on the other days. All communication with the administrator was through WhatsApp. Although they say it's available 24 hours, when we needed quick information or a little help in the moment, we had to wait for a message reply. The split between guests who booked through the hotel and those who booked through Manacá was so extreme that the reception staff seemed to avoid talking to us. One night, on our way back to the hotel, we needed a small piece of tape for a minor repair. The Kariri employee at reception checked and found some, then asked our room number. As soon as he saw we were with Manacá, he said he couldn't help and had nothing he could do. I've never had such an absurd reception experience. At minimum, the staff needed some humility and willingness to help. They refused us a tiny piece of tape. The hotel is pretty but run-down. Some parts look abandoned, with empty spaces or things that aren't operating. There could be more loungers by the pool and leisure options like games. Instead, there are unused, empty areas. The strangest thing happened when we came back and found our car parked somewhere different from where we had left it, even though we had kept the key with us the whole time. I asked on WhatsApp what happened. When we arrived, we'd been told we could park there and that a security booth looked after the area. From the reply, even Manacá didn't know what had happened. They said that because of construction, the hotel administration decided to move all the cars on the ramp. But why hadn't guests been told beforehand? It was very unsettling, and we still don't understand how they moved it without the key. We felt unsafe because someone had moved our car without telling us, and we had to ask what was going on.

A lovely hotel right by the sea. The room was comfortable, and everything was clean and well looked after. A great place to unwind and enjoy the beach.
