We’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and inns around the Serra, and this one ranks among our best experiences. The breakfast was delicious and nicely prepared, too. The shared spaces are warm and thoughtfully looked after, with a library, coffee area, games, hammocks, and a barbecue. The team made us feel at home right away, and the welcome was impeccable. We had an amazing stay from start to finish. We’ll definitely come back, and recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to unwind and enjoy the Serra.

Dona Rose made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived, almost like being welcomed into our parents’ home. The rooms were tidy, and the bedding was super clean. You can feel the care in all the little details. It’s a wonderful setting, with a lovely view and birds singing. If you enjoy that, you should get to know this pousada.

It’s a clean, orderly, peaceful place about 10k from Nova Petrópolis-RS. Breakfast was great, and the reception was friendly. I recommend it if you want to get away from big-city chaos for a few days.
