It's been 10 years since I was there, and I'm planning to return.

The location was perfect, close to both the center and the beach but still very quiet. The pousada is simple and, for the price, felt like good value compared with similar places nearby. The room was spacious and airy. I missed having a handheld shower and shampoo, though it really wasn't a problem. The owner and staff gave excellent service, and the pousada is very beautiful.

Sr Moritz, the owner, is friendly and around, doing his best to make the stay pleasant. The garden, pool, and shared areas are all very well kept, and the basic breakfast has what you need. The rooms are spacious and airy, with air conditioning, and the bathroom is simple but roomy. The pousada is well located and has that beach-inn style. We needed the door repaired, and it was taken care of right away. The towels and bedding looked and smelled clean. It's a simple but pleasant pousada and good value for the money.
