Villa Itacupa

I liked the idea of the place, but the owners were awful, and the experience was horrible. After a month of traveling, we saved this inn for last to celebrate my partner's birthday. We're vegan and thought it would be a lovely way to finish with chafe de ouro, but it wasn't. They were completely unhelpful, didn't come out to welcome us, and we only dealt with them through WhatsApp. The only saving grace was the employee, poor thing, doing everything by herself.

The rooms are simple, but the view is beautiful and the house is lovely. It's right on the sand, though the sea is coming in too much and damaging the beach there, which I understand is due to the groynes in Fortaleza and Acaraí. The place is beautiful, the vegan food is good, and the service was very good.

I first came for a wingfoil lesson, and it went great. Later I joined VEGNIC and enjoyed the event so much that I decided to stay at the inn. The food was really good, the place was peaceful, and the room was comfortable. The animals were adorable too. I made a reel about the experience, which you can see at @itacupa. Big hugs!

The best part was the service. Maria, who looks after the inn's food, welcomed us and was wonderful. Her vegan dishes gave me a real food experience. It was an excellent weekend at a small but cozy inn with an incredible view right by the beach. The sea looked beautiful and inviting at night, and the sound of the waves was right next door. Ronco do Mar, which has live music on weekends, is the neighboring spot.
