The rooms are charmingly furnished, and I felt comfortable as soon as I arrived. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Breakfast is freshly prepared. We’ll definitely return.

The bedsheets could have been cleaner, but everything else made for a great stay. The staff are especially friendly and sweet, and the location, food, garden, and room size were all good. ☺️

The beach is an easy walk away, as are the main restaurants and shops. I spent a few days at Xaina Pousada and really liked the atmosphere, breakfast, and pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful, with the English owner Neil directing the team. Recommended.

The hotel didn’t honor my confirmed booking, saying the rate was a “mistake.” They repeatedly asked me to enter my correct card details again, then cancelled the reservation when I didn’t. Very unprofessional and misleading. See attached.

I really liked this quiet place. It has a great atmosphere, is close to the sea, and has large compartments for storing surfing equipment.
