Hostel Portal Das Fadas

Miriam always welcomes us with warmth, empathy, and attention, and adjusts the schedule when she can. This was my second stay at Portal das Fadas, and the service was perfect again. The breakfast table is beautifully set and the food is very good, and they serve coffee at night too. There’s a shared kitchen that works really well, the rooms are clean, the location is good, and there’s on-site parking. A five-star rating doesn’t feel like enough for this special place. I’m so grateful, and I’ll always stay here when I’m in Cavalcante.

On our way to Santa Bárbara, we stopped to find somewhere to spend the night. What a lovely surprise to find Rogério there, ready to welcome us even though we had no reservation. We were very comfortable, and I’d recommend the place to friends and family. It has a unique feel. Thanks, and until next time, when we can check out the new accommodations! God bless this place!

This was my fourth stay, and the place is amazing. Mirian and Rógerio always welcome me so warmly. There are suites and shared rooms, plus the famous little fairy houses, and a treehouse is under construction. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything is impeccably clean. The breakfast is a perfect 10 😍.

After a day’s adventures, I loved stretching out in the hammock area. It was a real rest for the soul. The hostel feels welcoming, with an easygoing, positive vibe, and the cared-for spaces are cozy. The little dachshund dogs add something special, too. Breakfast was amazing, generous, and made with care. The team was helpful from the start. When I found myself without a guide just days before the trip, they sorted it out and paired me with other guests, which saved the trip since I was traveling alone. I’d recommend Portal das Fadas without hesitation and would definitely stay again.
