Rio Centro Stay

The room was unbelievably bad, and there was no breakfast. The bedding and towels hanging on the balcony smelled awful. The pillows were especially foul, all of them, including the ones in the wardrobe, had hair on them and smelled like unwashed hair. One looked like its color came from drool. I put one of my own shirts over a pillow because the smell was so strong. The sofa bed sheet was torn, and there was a spiderweb under the door in the corner. Even the sheets smelled bad, and we had to use the same bath towel because the towels were in such poor condition. The shower wouldn't stay hot for even a minute. The heater was in terrible shape and its temperature control was old and broken. Neither air conditioner worked, so despite all the noise from the condominium, we had to sleep with the bedroom and living room windows open. We asked to change rooms, but they said none was available. They then said there was another one, but after we packed everything to move downstairs, they cancelled and said they'd been mistaken. We only got a different room late the next day, after two nights. In all my travels, not just in RJ, I've never had such a dirty, smelly room. I'll never stay at a place managed by this company again. Absurdly awful. If you and your family care about cleanliness, don't stay here.
