The room was tidy, though I expected a bit more. There was no [unclear] in our room. Breakfast was great, and you can ask for juice and eggs.

We had two incredible days here. The place is clean, special, full of light, and built with so much care in harmony with nature. A little stream runs behind the pousada and makes a private garden. You can light a fire there at night, too. It’s hard to understand how beautiful it is without seeing it. Marcelo was attentive from the first message and gave us lots of tips. My boyfriend and I had long chats with him, and he told us about all kinds of things specific to the region. Breakfast was delicious. It felt like more than just a stay, it was an experience. We were so happy there and would definitely stay again if we return to Cavalcante.

It’s right inside Cavalcante but away from the crowds. There are only four rooms, and they’re very well equipped. A small river runs behind the place, and there’s a spot for barbecues and leisure. There’s no breakfast unless you order it, but you can use the kitchen or go to the wonderful bakery nearby. If your group books all four rooms, the whole place is yours. When I went, I camped in front of a beautiful set of torches, which is why I posted a photo of my tent, hehehehhe.

The setting is lovely, with native woodland and a stream running along the back of the property. It’s very cozy, with just four spacious, comfortable suites. The shower could be better, and there should be a mirror in the room, but the rest was great. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff even let us make little snacks to take on the trails, which helped a lot. Marcelo, the owner, was very attentive and shared lots of trail tips. One night he made a fire by the river, where we drank wine and talked. It was really lovely. A great place to rest, eat well, and enjoy nature.

It has a lovely, farmhouse feel, with a tree shaded space and a beautiful river running behind the property where the kids can play safely. There’s also a barbecue grill guests can use for an end of day cookout. I loved the welcome and how well they cared for the rooms. I’ll definitely come back with my family and recommend it to friends.
