This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The bathroom was unusable, the facilities were old, and the room had a strange smell. The bedding looked ugly and really tacky. It was awful. The man was very helpful, but his wife told him what to do and he couldn’t make decisions. The shower was so bad you could count the holes water came out of. I left before my stay was over and regretted paying for three nights upfront. The TV was up high and pointed straight ahead, so we couldn’t watch it from the bed. This isn’t me being fussy. I’d never recommend this place.

Divina and Marcos, the hosts, are friendly, helpful people who are always ready to make your stay more enjoyable. The location is very good. Life in this region is simple, and so is the pousada, but that doesn’t make it bad or uncomfortable. The room is cozy and works well if you’re looking for somewhere to rest after a tiring day of hiking. They put a lot of love into everything.

I felt completely at home here. It’s simple, cozy, clean, and smells nice, with everything you need to rest and be happy. Divina and Marcos were 1000 out of 1000 as hosts. The place is close to everything, the kitchen is equipped so you can save on food, and the street is really quiet. Nothing to complain about. If you’re thinking of staying at Refúgio da Chapada and aren’t fussy, go for it. It’ll be an amazing experience. When I come back, I’ll definitely stay here again.

The owner stood out for how available she was when we asked for help improving our stay. She acted right away. Congratulations! The accommodation is simple and matches the price, so I have no complaints about that.

It’s a simple place at a great price, but there wasn’t even toilet paper, which is a basic thing for guests. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the shower is right by the door. Good for one night, maybe, and that’s about it.
