The location is great, right beside the ocean and near the commercial area. Breakfast service, though, wasn’t very good. The dining area is too small for all the guests, so there’s usually a wait for a table. They often run out of food and juice, then take too long to refill them. The bed itself is great, but the sheets are too small and come loose during the night, which really bothers me. It’s a little expensive for what you get.

Everything was clean, including the towels and sheets, and the pool was okay. The restaurant staff were fine, though I wasn’t keen on the food. The hotel has a lot of space that could be used better, maybe for more kids’ play areas or a spa. Wi-Fi was a constant problem. This isn’t a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for quiet. There’s partying all day and night, and you can hear it from the room. The walls are thin enough that I could hear the neighbors on the phone, and footsteps overhead at 2 am. The beach gets overcrowded in summer and it’s hard to find a spot to sit. By the end I was glad to go home, stressed from the sleepless nights.

The receptionists were really friendly, and the rooms were clean. The location is unbeatable, with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants worth exploring. Breakfast was varied and very good. They also lend out chairs for free for the day, which is essential for spending the whole day at the beach. I’d happily come back here.

The staff were warm, polite, attentive, and always ready to help. We felt truly welcome. The hotel was beautifully kept, clean, and decorated with such good taste that we wanted to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. From the pool, the beach is so close that you can just admire the sea. I’m from Santa Catarina and hadn’t visited the Island in years. Staying at Hotel Palace 1 brought back some of the best moments of my life, and the loveliest part was sharing them with my daughters. I’m sad the stay is over, but I’m leaving grateful for the time with my family and feeling at home. We’ll definitely return!
