Pousada Condado Santa Maria

The hospitality of Sr. Petronio is one of the inn’s biggest draws. He takes care to set the table for breakfast, and his fascinating stories about local traditions and memories make the stay feel connected to the region’s culture and history. With its warm rustic charm, the place is a peaceful retreat close to nature. The whole visit became an unforgettable experience, and a precious memory I’ll carry with me for life.

We went for a winter weekend, and although Baependi was very cold, the room was cozy and peaceful for sleeping. The breakfast was wonderful too. Meeting the welcoming, cheerful Sr. Petrônio made the trip worthwhile, along with the visit to Nhá Chica.

"Ói qui..." This inn exceeded all my expectations. It’s comfortable, has internet and cell service, accepts pets, and has room to park the car. Sr Petrônio, the owner, is cheerful, friendly, attentive, and great to talk with. Spending time with him is a pleasure. The food is very good, and the cook really knows her way around the kitchen. There’s space for barbecues, pizza nights, parties, and events in the hall. I hope more people get to enjoy everything this place has to offer. Getting there is the only tricky part, but it doesn’t stop you from enjoying the trip.

The peaceful countryside setting made this a lovely stay. It’s a rustic-style inn, and the colonial breakfast was generous and well served.
