Breakfast was incredible, with a variety of breakfast cakes that never get old for me. The afternoon tea was lovely too, and so was the chef. The public spaces are amazing, and the location is great, just two minutes from the town center. Our room had an amazing big bed, but the floor was dirty. There was only one toilet roll, so we had to call reception. The key card didn’t work, and after we asked to have our bins emptied, nobody did it. On the second day, the owner’s photo shoot shattered the peace, with lights and a camera crew everywhere and no apology. We certainly wouldn’t have stayed if we’d known. I would have asked for a refund, but none of the managers were around the next morning, and there was nobody to speak to at checkout. It really spoiled what could have been a five-star stay.

I left feeling really upset. I’d paid R$ 6000 mil for two full days with dinner, but on the second day I had to leave before evening. I asked if they could pack the dinner to take with me, and they said no because they didn’t have any containers. Honestly, it felt like they just couldn’t be bothered. If they’d really wanted to, they could have figured something out.

I’m staying at this hotel right now, and since I arrived yesterday, I haven’t found a single problem. The receptionists’ service deserves a 12, and the room does too. The bathroom is excellent and spacious, and the shower is strong, relaxing, and heats up quickly. At breakfast, a staff member came over to offer omelets, tapioca, and toasted ham and cheese sandwiches from the kitchen, all included in the price. Service like that is rare these days. The pool is heated and really warm, so you can use it at any time of day. Congratulations to everyone for the excellent service!

A couple of things could be better: the pool should be cleaned daily, and the rooms should be tidied without guests having to request it by message. The place itself is beautiful and well located in the area, and really feels like a home. The food and service were excellent, especially Ed and Angélica, who were so friendly. It’s worth having lunch and dinner at the inn. The pool is lovely, the sauna is good, and the common areas are very pleasant.
