The location is incredible, with seresta right outside. Lívia and her family put so much care into looking after guests. The inn is lovely, with furniture and warmth that feel just like grandma’s house. Breakfast and afternoon coffee were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A stay here is well worth it, and the conversations and stories made for memories I won’t forget.

Step outside and you’re right in the middle of Vassouras, with little shops to browse or restaurants where you can sit down for a beer or a good cachaça. I loved the inn. Angélica greeted us so politely and made us a wonderful breakfast, and the owner was very kind. I recommend it.

The inn is in a wonderful location, and the staff were very friendly. The owner seemed pleasant too, but when something went wrong, he failed to deal with it. We went to enjoy the city after checking in that afternoon, and when we came back, there was no water in the bathroom. We had no way to contact anyone, and there was no one responsible staying at the inn. I went down early to find someone, but the person responsible only arrived after 7 a.m. and said he didn’t know what had caused the problem. When I asked about it, he gave a mocking smile, as though it were no big deal that guests had gone to bed without a shower and had no way to wash their faces in the morning. We had to carry all our clothes down from the third floor to shower on the first. And it was Valentine’s Day. What a wonderful gift I gave my wife. We showered and checked out. To make things worse, Mr. Francisco had left without fixing the problem. We found an open room and took the initiative to go in and shower there. We’re very upset with the service we received.

The room was comfortable, and breakfast was great. I also got an unexpected afternoon coffee that made me feel like my own grandma had welcomed me. The location is right in the middle of town, and the seresta passes by the door.
