We spent two nights here, and the room was spacious with a big, comfortable bed. The staff and owner were really cool, and there are plenty of laid-back spots around the place. It’s quiet and remote, with a beautiful beach that’s good for kiting when the wind and tide are right. Breakfast was super good, especially on the second floor with its ocean view. We also had two dinners and were very happy with them. The only issue we had was mosquitoes coming in during the night, probably through the window. Otherwise, everything was great.

The location is excellent, very close to the beach, but our stay went badly. I’d paid for an upstairs suite with a balcony for five people and a dog. When we arrived to check in, they’d given the room to someone else. They put us in a much smaller room downstairs that only fit three people. The dog was supposed to stay on the balcony in the room we booked, but in the replacement room he had to be shut inside and had nowhere suitable to stay. He kept barking, and the owner then came to complain about the noise. They’re very disorganized. We weren’t lucky enough to have a good experience.

The rooms are simple but perfectly fine, and the guesthouse is beautifully landscaped with lots of facilities. It’s right on the beach, with a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff and owner. The restaurant is good and has a lovely feel to it. We go every year. XX

It’s a pleasant place to stay, with lots of space and right next to the beach. It works very well for families with children. On my last visit, though, cleaning had been neglected in both the outdoor areas and the rooms, so I can’t give it five stars.
