The staff were welcoming and incredibly friendly, ready to help or offer advice any time, day or night. Breakfast was great, and the rooms felt luxurious. There are lockers at reception for kite gear. You get what you pay for.

For the next few months, I’d avoid staying here. There’s construction at the buildings on both sides of the pousada, and even on its roof. They didn’t warn us, and from 8 am to 6 pm it felt like being on a building site. There was no chance to rest. I tried reaching the hotel manager to ask for some kind of commercial gesture since we hadn’t been told about the work, but he didn’t bother to come. If I get a proposal, I might change this review. This is the first time I’ve left a negative hotel review, but the stay was really bad.

The location is great and so are the rooms, but the pousada is beside a construction site, with constant noise that makes it impossible to rest. Breakfast was average.
