Villa Aracoara Pousada

The pool area was beautiful, a great place to relax and get out of the wind, and the breakfast was the best we've had in Brazil. Elaine is a great chef. Our room and bed were very comfortable, and the bathroom was thoughtfully designed and furnished. We were sad to leave Villa Aracoara after such a great stay. Gustavo and Elaina were kind and generous hosts who made the place stand out. They gave us great restaurant recommendations around Prea, so we always found somewhere good to eat in the evening. When we arrived, Gustavo showed us around Prea so we knew where to go, then helped arrange a brilliant trip to tatajuba and Jeri. I can't recommend the villa enough!

The house is so beautiful, and the breakfasts are out of this world. Gustavo and Elaine were friendly and always there to help with anything, from suggesting restaurants to picking us up after a long, tiring kite session. We had an amazing stay at their place. If you're in Prea, you have to stay here!

Elaine and Gustavo were so kind and even offered to drive us to nearby places when we needed it. We felt welcome right away. Breakfast was a real highlight, with Elaine making a big spread of sweet and savory choices, including fresh fruit, in the open kitchen looking out over the garden and pool. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, with a hammock on the terrace. We slept really well. The pool and the rest of the place were lovely too. One of the best pousadas we’ve stayed at, and an easy recommendation if you’re going to Prea.

With just five rooms, the pousada has a private, family feel, and everything is cleaned daily, including the rooms, pool, and outdoor areas. The owners are incredibly friendly and will help with questions or problems you might not expect them to handle. Breakfast is freshly made, with a huge selection. Probably the best pousada in Brasil.
