The staff are lovely and happy to help with everything, and the breakfast is such a treat to come back to. I love staying here; it feels like home whenever I’m in CS. Just a few blocks from everything you need, with a perfect location. The hotel is clean, safe, organized, and, above all, trustworthy. Easily the best in the city.

The views of the city and the location near the center were the only good parts of my stay at Swamy. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, with stray hairs all over, and the shower didn’t work right. I went three nights without AC before they finally moved me to a room where it was only a little better. On Saturday morning, renovations upstairs woke me early and carried on all day. Nobody had told me about the work or offered me another room, and I got no refund or discount for the disruption. I had to contact the staff repeatedly before they did anything. At checkout, the receptionist couldn’t lower the bill for the nights I’d lost sleep, and the manager ignored my WhatsApp messages. Breakfast was terrible too: eggs and meat sat out with nothing to keep them warm, so unless you came first thing, they were cold and dry. The service is nowhere near worth what the hotel charges. There are much better places in Cruzeiro, so look elsewhere if you can.
