Pousada da Mata

We had such a lovely stay. Ricardo and the whole team were thoughtful and attentive, and the chalets are roomy with an impeccable view. The inn is tucked into the woods and very well maintained. Breakfast was wonderful, all natural and carefully prepared. We went cycling on both mornings before breakfast, and they kindly put together a big basket of breakfast items for us. We were greeted by the cats Nina and Nala and Banguela, which we loved. We love cats, though they seemed to come play only with people they already knew. We didn't get to enjoy the beautiful sauna because of our cycling, so we'll be back. Thanks, Ricardo, for the stay and for the restaurant and place recommendations in Cunha.

The chalet was comfortable, with a wonderful view. The bedding was clean and the towels were new and very white. Breakfast was simply delicious and didn't disappoint. Sr. Ricardo welcomed us warmly and helped us with everything we needed, both at the inn and beyond it. He looked out for our safety and well-being before and during our stay. It was an amazing experience with wonderful people. We'll certainly return soon.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of good quality items. The inn is well located, tidy, cared for, and very clean. The service was both professional and kind. Ricardo, the owner, treated every guest warmly and shared tips on local outings and attractions. We loved our stay and will certainly come back.

The service was impeccable, and everything else was lovely too. The location, well-kept chalets, wonderful breakfast, pool, and sauna all made for a great stay. The room was spotless and tastefully done, with nice sheets and towels, and the garden was beautifully maintained. I recommend it and will definitely return.
