The food was superb. I ordered shrimp pasta and cleaned my plate with some of the host’s homemade bread, which was excellent too. The host was incredibly attentive, showed us everything he used, and enthusiastically explained the good things he makes on site or brings in fresh from the vendor.

A great inn in a convenient location, close to everything, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff and owners are excellent.

It’s a family-style inn, very close to the center of Cunha, with comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast. It was really cold when we visited, but there were plenty of blankets and comforters in the chalet. Everything was clean and smelled fresh, and everyone made us feel welcome. We’re coming back next month, Aug/25, this time with my mother-in-law. I just forgot to take photos, so maybe next time.
