The breakfast was good, and the hotel felt reasonably priced, comfortable, and safe. The rooms are a little dated and worn, but they were spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. There’s an amazing shopping centre within walking distance. I’d definitely stay here again when I’m in Curitiba.

The room was pretty good, but the Wi-Fi didn’t work.

For 98 reais, I expected better hygiene. The furniture was old and uncomfortable, and the double bed was really two single beds with an uncomfortable ridge between them. The Wi-Fi was weak and very slow. Breakfast came with bread that seemed two days old and powdered juice worse than Tang. The shower itself was good, but the stall was about one square metre, so there was no room to stretch out an arm and wash. There’s a busy little bar across from the hotel, which made things uncomfortable until 11 p.m. The elevator was a bit of an adventure. Barely enough room for two people, and it didn’t feel safe.
