Daniel, the owner, posted the only five-star review. He charged me twice for my stay, and ten days have gone by without my money being returned. The apartment needs a lot of repairs. While I was showering, the shower in the women’s bathroom burst over me. Both bathrooms I used had a lot of water leaking out of the shower stall, and a few times the water from the handwashing sink was muddy. The shared-room beds are hard, and the bunk beds are so unstable I nearly hurt myself several times climbing up. Wi-Fi only works in the living room and kitchen. In the bedroom it keeps dropping, and sometimes won’t connect at all.

The owner treated me really well. It’s very close to Arena da Baixada, and I’ll look for this place again when I’m back in Curitiba. It’s a pretty nice spot.
