Hotel Dunamys Curitiba

I went back recently and asked for the rooms at the back. It was perfect, and that took the stay from 4 to 5 stars. On my first visit I stayed more than 20 days. The room was spacious, clean, well kept, and great for the price. Breakfast was amazing, and staff were always helpful. The main road made things a bit noisy, so I think a back room is a better choice. There’s a pool and sauna on the top floor. Snacks in the room cost a lot, so walk a few minutes to the supermarket on the right. I’d recommend the place and will definitely return.

The breakfast is very good, the staff are nice, and there’s a very good restaurant on the property, which is handy when you’re tired and hungry. The open parking lot feels safe, with surveillance cameras and watchmen. It’s a good spot for an overnight stop on a road trip, right beside the BR-116 highway. Some rooms don’t have air conditioning, and the sound insulation in rooms facing the highway isn’t very effective. That may bother people with sensitive ears, though I found it tolerable. My room was also missing water glasses, which are always useful. Overall, it’s a very good place.

I paid 75 reais a night, with breakfast included, and the hotel is cheaper than the ones closer to downtown. The rooms were better than I expected. It’s a ten-floor hotel with a gym and sauna, though the in-room snacks are overpriced, as usual. It’s a nice place for the price, but it isn’t very close to the city.

The rooms are roomy and the beds comfortable. They all have air conditioning and a minibar. There’s also a fitness center and a swimming pool for recreation, plus a steakhouse next door serving several kinds of meat at lunch and dinner. A very good hotel.
