Hotel Golden Park Curitiba by Nacional Inn

This hotel was awful and not worth what they charge. There's no air conditioning, the internet doesn't work, and everything feels done to the bare minimum. They charge more than other hotels nearby while giving such terrible service.

I booked a room in November for an event in March. The event was rescheduled in December, and I contacted the hotel right away, but they wouldn't refund my payment. They charged me for the entire stay despite having four months' notice. I understand the booking platform's fine print said the reservation was non-refundable, but canceling so far ahead wouldn't have harmed the hotel, and they could have had my business on the new date. I won't do business with people who handle things this way, and you shouldn't either. Tell everyone: don't give a single penny to Golden Park Hotel in Curitiba!

The reception staff were friendly, and they let us leave our bags there for free after checkout. Our room, bathroom, and sheets were clean. We had breakfast there too, and it was good, though the choices were limited.

The hotel is near the main bus and train station, and breakfast was okay. The gym is very poor. The night shift staff had a bad attitude and wouldn't clean the messy bathroom we found at check-in or fix the TV. The internet connection was horrible, which I suppose helps the hotel since guests are less likely to leave a rating.
