Good price, simple and cozy place. The family who runs the house is so caring and helpful. I loved everything.

Really pleasant and peaceful, and everything was very clean. The blessed family running the inn took good care of it.

The hosts made the stay, honestly. We arrived close to 1 a.m. on Friday, and the hostess greeted us with a big smile. They stayed just as friendly right through to the end. We were in room 2, which was basic but tidy and clean. It had a minibar, one double bed and one single, a TV, ceiling fan, and Wi-Fi that worked the whole time. The inn is about 15 minutes from the historic center, in a quiet, more secluded area with no mobile signal. There are more fully equipped room options, so check with the owners. The road is paved. We had a car, which made everything easier, and the roads to any beach you might want to visit are paved too. I’d recommend going by car, otherwise you’ll spend a lot on Uber. It’s not a walkable distance. One thing to clear up: we found the place on Booking but booked directly with the owner. The listing gave the impression breakfast was included, but there isn’t breakfast. They offer a complimentary coffee, literally coffee, so the wording can be read two ways. I’d suggest correcting the listings, or seeing if serving breakfast is viable, though that would probably make the stay a bit more expensive. If you know there’s no breakfast, there’s a bakery on the next street that’ll do the job, and the prices are reasonable compared with the steep prices in the historic center. With those limitations in mind, I recommend it if you want to save a little on accommodation. I’d definitely come back. Sorry, I forgot to take photos.

The family hosting us was so lovely, and I enjoyed all the little details. It’s a beautiful place, and I’ll choose it again when I’m back in Paraty.
