Mercure Curitiba Golden Hotel

The place is beautiful inside and in a great location, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. My one complaint is that the pool is way too hot. A heated pool is nice, but this felt like a hot tub, wasn’t refreshing, and wasn’t good for toddlers.

The hotel staff are very courteous, and the rooms are a decent size.

Our apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which worked perfectly for my husband, our adult daughter, and me. There was also a living and dining area, plus a counter, refrigerator, and stovetop, so it was easy to make simple meals and keep food in the room. The space was clean and roomy, and housekeeping came every day. They were kind and respectful. We appreciated the high-speed WiFi, which let my husband work while we were in Curitiba, and the laundry service did a fantastic job with our clothes during our 10-day stay. The valet was useful too: we could drive up to the door, and they took the car down to the secure garage off the street. There are plenty of shops and restaurants just a few blocks away, and we never felt unsafe. The restaurant served breakfast daily, but there weren’t many gluten-free choices, so we ate breakfast in our room. Lunch and dinner had plenty of options, and we ate at the restaurant later in the day and also ordered room service. When we arrived at Mercure Golden, the welcome was warm and friendly. We communicated with Google Translate, and a few employees spoke English, which helped a lot. Thank you, Mercure Golden and Curitiba, for a wonderful stay!

The breakfast was fantastic, with drinks and tropical fruit, and the indoor pool was clean and just right. The employees were very polite and helpful. We loved staying at Mercure Golden in Curitiba with our dog. The room was clean and comfortable, though the child’s bed was a sofa and its cushion wasn’t very soft. Parking could have been included in the hotel price. We put up the “do not disturb” sign, but it wasn’t fully respected. When we arrived late at night after a long trip to Curitiba, nobody offered to help take our luggage to the room, so we carried it ourselves. We would definitely recommend the hotel.
