The location seemed good to me. I don't know Curitiba, but the area felt calm and had lots of pharmacies, restaurants, and especially bars nearby. The reception staff and other employees were friendly, polite, and helpful. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and breakfast was basic but fine. The place is quite old and simple, and the room was small enough that more than three people might have trouble moving around. The beds were hard and the pillows were practically nonexistent. Our air conditioning didn't work, and after we were moved to another room the next day, that unit didn't work either. We got a fan the first night, but not the following nights because all the fans were already in use. I suspect the air conditioning problem affects every room. We couldn't sleep properly during the stay. I was there from February 13 to February 16 and honestly couldn't wait to leave. It might suit someone looking to save money, but I don't know the nightly price because I bought the stay in a package through decolar. I think paying a bit more for somewhere better, or looking for something else in the same price range, could be worthwhile.

The staff weren't attentive, and they didn't seem to care when we told them a guest upstairs had been dragging furniture around in the middle of the night. It was really disruptive. We stayed two nights and wouldn't return. The hotel badly needs renovation: the rooms were moldy and smelled awful, and the whole place had that musty odor. Our bathroom smelled of urine and feces, and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was bare-bones and miserable. The mattress was too soft, and the pillows were so low I don't even know if they count as pillows. Luckily, I brought my own. We had already paid through Booking, and the cancellation penalty wasn't worth it, so we stayed for only about a day and a half, thankfully. That awful experience went by quickly. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. One word for this hotel: decay.

At night the area felt a little strange, although the location is reasonably good overall. The pool was somewhat dirty, and my friends and I decided not to use it. Children were jumping around recklessly and on top of us, which could have caused an accident. We told management, but nothing was done. The children's guardians were rude and didn't step in, and there were no visible signs with rules or guidance. There also aren't any security cameras, which made us feel somewhat unsafe. For the price, a stay is possible, but anyone wanting more comfort probably won't find it a good choice. Breakfast was limited and basic, enough to eat but not varied or especially good. The room was reasonably clean and fine for sleeping, but its air conditioning didn't work well. The room first given to us at check-in was extremely dirty, so we asked to change. In the second room, one bottle of water was already open. Check items like this when you arrive, because we ended up paying for water we hadn't drunk, apparently because the hotel hadn't checked before the next check-in. The bed and shower were okay. It might work if all you need is somewhere to sleep, but I'd look elsewhere if comfort, safety, and better facilities matter.
