The staff are very cordial, and the rooms are large with a beautiful view. My TV often lost its signal, though, and the safe was unusable. The hotel looks old and worn, much like the city, but it's very cheap and central. Its position is perfect, right in the heart of Curitiba near the main pedestrian street, and there’s a slice pizzeria in the same building, handy on a rainy night, which there will be plenty of. I’d suggest it if you want an inexpensive place to rest and maybe work a bit on your computer before heading to the next Brazilian city. The Wi-Fi isn't good: streaming was impossible, and sometimes there was no signal at all.

The location is great, and you can get everywhere from there. Just be careful at night, when the street empties out. I had some trouble on arrival: they sent me to three different rooms before finding the right one. The building is old, and the rooms don't have heaters.
