The staff were kind, but the place felt poorly managed and rather neglected. At night there was nobody around except the guests, which left us feeling there was no security. We paid 800.00 a night and expected a stay closer to the standard of our own homes, with more care, cleanliness, and respect for guests. We were in room 23. There was nowhere in the bathroom to hang towels, and the glass panel in the double entry door wouldn't close from outside. Bugs and mosquitoes came through the outer louvered door, so we had to spray insecticide in the room every day after outings. When we went to the pool at 10 a.m., the area was still dirty from a celebration the day before. Breakfast was poor, with items often missing or not replenished, and it was left exposed where there were lots of little bugs and flies. We tried to leave the hotel early, but they wouldn't cancel the remaining night.

We'd booked two nights but decided to leave on the first day. The place felt abandoned, the internet was awful, and the food was expensive with very little choice. Breakfast was decent. We also went without dinner the first night because the bar never answered us.

A good-value place to stay while visiting the waterfalls around Delfinópolis. The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and there's a heated pool for unwinding after a day at the falls. Breakfast is a full colonial-style spread.

This was our first stay, and it'll be our last. We arrived Saturday planning to stay until Monday, but at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday nobody answered the reception phone. We went to find out why the Wi-Fi wasn't working and discovered there was no staff left. Honestly, the place felt abandoned, and the employees leave after 9 p.m. My wife and I only slept there that night because two other guests were in the chalet next door. The next morning we were told we'd be the only guests that night. It's 6 km from town, there's no cell signal, and the Wi-Fi was terrible, so staying there didn't feel safe at all. We left without getting the benefit of the nearly one thousand reais we'd paid for our stay. It's a shame to see a place that must once have been beautiful in this condition.
