Watch out! We stayed at this inn and problems started on the first day. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, so when we told reception, they gave us a fan for the room. We paid for a room with air conditioning and ended up sleeping with a fan instead. The door had also been hard to open since we arrived, and its lock was already damaged. At the end of our stay, staff came to inspect the room and said they’d charge us extra for using the fan, the damaged lock, and a paper left on the power sensor. The paper had the air conditioning repairman’s logo and contact details; he had left it there. We had already paid the full room price, since apparently guests can only stay if everything is paid on arrival. We asked to change rooms. The receptionist found us that fan, which wouldn’t even turn its head and only blew in one direction. They tried to charge us for it even though we only used it because the air conditioning was broken and they provided it. We hadn’t asked for a fan, we’d asked for a room with working air conditioning, which we’d paid to use. The door had been sticking from the start, but they wanted to charge us an extra fee for it too. They also wanted to charge us for the repairman’s card, which his company had left in the room. None of these rules were posted anywhere, which, as I see it, amounts to tied selling and could lead to legal action. The rest was okay: breakfast and beds were fine, and the location was very good. But there are other places nearby that can save you a lot of hassle. One more thing: anyone with limited mobility should know that getting in means climbing two long flights of stairs.
