Pousada Elita

I thought the point of choosing Elita was getting good value, but it felt expensive after such a bad night's sleep. Sleeping was the main reason for my trip. The room was hot, and the pillow had hardly any filling, so I ended up with neck and head pain and was very sleepy after not resting properly. The parking is on another street, not in the building or next door as I'd imagined. It's dark and overgrown there, you have to unlock and lock the gate yourself with a padlock, and it's quite a walk to the inn. Even though this isn't a hotel, inns usually provide basics like soap, shampoo, and bath and face towels. You should bring those things here too.

The inn and bathroom were good, and the price was worth it. Still, the room was a bit dusty, and getting an apartment on the top floor, the 4th, after a long walk wasn't great with my allergic rhinitis and sore knee. I'd suggest asking for a lower floor and having them vacuum the room.

A pleasant place with really good service. I was welcomed warmly, and the feijoada is great.

This hotel is very disorganized. I had booked a room, but when I arrived they had given it to another guest. The attendant was waiting at the bar next door and spoke incoherently. I don't recommend it. As I was leaving, another guest arrived and went through the same embarrassing situation.
