Nice.

The food was delicious, and there was enough that we never went hungry. The hotel is cozy, and the cleaning was impeccable. Mariana and Camila at reception were warm and attentive, the waiters were helpful, and it was nice seeing the owners Rodrigo, Rafael and Romulo keeping an eye on things. A special mention to chef Rodrigo and the kitchen team. My wife and I had a wonderful 50-minute relaxing massage. The hotel has a Wellness Center offering several massages and therapies at fair prices, and they gave us a complimentary 10-minute foot massage when we arrived. @agrivitalis (I think that's the Wellness Center's Instagram). Dione and Elaine are the massage therapists, with fairy hands. It really delivered the relaxation and professionalism they promised. We definitely recommend it!

The hotel is huge and lovely to look at from every angle. The lake is beautiful and full of fish for sport fishing, and the main house has the comfort and charm of a grandma's home, with old furniture. At the lakeside restaurant, the views are lovely both day and night. I appreciated the wooden tables and chairs, proper glass, metal, or porcelain dishes and cutlery, and chilled tulip glasses served with 0° beer. The place has three pools, small, medium, and large, and lifeguards keep watch at the pools and lake. There's more than one Wi-Fi network, which helps since phone signal is scarce. The farm area has horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even a cow. There are pedal boats, a boat, horseback rides, and chances to interact with the animals. I joined a game and won two large cans of beer while competing with four men, which made me feel extra special. We were so comfortable in the simple room I booked for my mother and me. It had a box bed, air conditioning, a full bathroom, and a TV. I worried it might be too small for us, but it was just right, and it turned out to be an adorable yellow chalet. The bedding was very comfortable, and extra replacement and cleaning came at no cost. The hotel was extremely organized and welcoming. There was food every two hours, and we joked there was no time to get hungry. Every meal brought new dishes and treats we'd never tried. The seasoning was divine, I almost cried at the first meal. Even when we weren't hungry, it was hard to say no. There was a wide choice of drinks, cocktails, sweets, and items to take away. The staff were capable, kind, humble, and worked together without needing constant supervision. We felt at ease, like we were among friends and family. Two entertainers brought laughs for every age, with a mix of simple jokes for the kids and clever, slightly ironic humor for adults. In the end, everyone laughed. When I mentioned during booking that the trip was a belated birthday present for my mother, they surprised us with a door sign, a complimentary drink, a birthday cake and song, and discounts. That level of thoughtfulness was amazing. I also booked a massage for my mother with two therapists working at the same time. I've never seen her so happy and relaxed. Massages cost extra, but the prices were accessible. A few things could be better. During rainy, windy weather, the power went out several times. The generator apparently didn't cover the whole hotel, and outages at night were especially inconvenient. Maybe reviewing the system or expanding the backup would help. I booked a time in the hot tub as a treat for my mother, but only when I went to get the key did I learn it was having problems. Nobody had told me beforehand, and it didn't seem to have been checked. That was the one time service let us down. There are many parking spots, but only five are partly covered. Simple awnings would help. After all that care, I would have liked my car to get a proper rest too. I’m very grateful to God and the team for such a happy, satisfying stay. I can't wait to return. Wishing them continued success!

There's a lot that needs attention here. The animals' area looked dirty and poorly maintained, and the garden was overgrown with weeds. My room had leaks, stained sheets, and a broken bed frame on the single bed. The pool was shedding lots of blue paint flakes. At the restaurant, flies were everywhere, hundreds of them, landing on the food left out on display, which was most of it. The cooks didn't seem careful about keeping all their hair inside their caps. Some dishes were chipped, the cutlery handles were greasy, and my husband found a very long hair in the French toast. They played the same poor-quality music over and over. The woman leading recreation spoke so incorrectly it was nerve-racking to listen to. It's fairly mediocre, though kind of okay.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the recreation staff are good, and there are activities like bingo and live music. The owners are attentive and try to help, and all the staff are very friendly. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were excellent, well prepared, and tasty. Drink prices were reasonable. They have Sol Neve popsicles and ice cream, plus a small shop with biscuits and everyday items for the farm. The rooms were clean and had good mattresses and pillows, though some don't have a minibar. The kids' area needs work: the toys need maintenance, the bouncy castle is missing many springs, the foosball players' rotating piece is loose, and several toys don't work. The pool ladder wobbles, and paint is peeling around the pool. Both need repairs. There are only a few animals on the farm, and the area where they stay needs better cleaning.
