Casa do Ney

It’s a simple house, but a lovely one. The location is handy, facing praia da Conceição and close to the town center. There’s a wonderful sunset view, and friendly little cats come by our balcony. The kitchen has a good setup, with a fridge and stove.

Ney and Vanessa were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The house is well suited to couples, with a double bed, spacious bathroom, storage, kitchen, fridge, dining area, and a hammock to relax in. Linens are changed and the place is cleaned and tidied every three days. It’s in a great spot, looking toward Morro do Pico and across from Praia Conceicao, about 500 meters from the town center. The Wi-Fi is very slow, and breakfast isn’t included.

Ney and Vanessa were wonderful, always attentive. We’d definitely return to Casa do Ney. It’s a peaceful place for a couple, close to the beach and about 500 meters from the town center, with restaurants, a supermarket, pharmacy, buggy rentals, Santander bank, and more. There’s even the option of having a barbecue. The Wi-Fi was very slow in the house, though that seemed to be the case across almost the whole island.

The place was quiet, clean, and welcoming, and better than I expected. It’s close to both the beach and the center. There’s air conditioning, cable TV, and other little extras, plus a balcony with a hammock, which I love, and a kitchen with everything handy. Ney was very welcoming, polite, and available. Such a shame I didn’t get to meet Vanessa. We hope to be back soon and stay in the same place.
