Noronha Good Vibes Hostel

The rooms are spacious, the staff attentive, and the facilities are great. It’s a good place to relax after a busy day. The pool is clean, and the restaurant has good options. I’d definitely stay again on another trip.

I can’t really review the stay itself, because I’m not even sure the place still exists. I booked through booking well ahead of time since I like to plan, then noticed the environmental preservation fee wasn’t listed on the site when I tried to pay it. That made me uneasy, so I checked Instagram and saw there hadn’t been any posts in 2025. I contacted them through booking, direct, and WhatsApp, but got no reply. On WhatsApp, my messages weren’t even received. Luckily, I’m organized and tried to pay the fee while I could still cancel for free on booking. That might not have worked out so well. Now there are very few guesthouses left, and I’ll have to rush to find a vacancy that fits my budget.

The place is really comfortable, the people are welcoming, and they clean the rooms every day. Breakfast is simple but very good. I did worry that I might arrive and find nothing there because it was hard to reach them on WhatsApp and booking, haha. It worked out in the end. They should improve communication, but it didn’t affect my stay.

We had six wonderful days here. It’s centrally located on the island, near the main market, which was very convenient. The place was spotless and peaceful, with no disruptive noise, and the value was good. Breakfast was the one small drawback, since it’s quite simple and doesn’t have many options. That didn’t spoil our stay, though, and we’d consider coming back on another visit to the island.
