Pousada Ares De Noronha

Everything about the pousada was lovely and pleasant, with a rustic feel that still seemed sophisticated. It was very well located, right beside the bus stop and close to a bakery, market, and restaurants. My room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. The one letdown was the shower, which had such weak pressure that hardly any water came out. It could use improvement, since a relaxing shower after the beach would be great. I’ll definitely come back.

This little pousada is charming, very well located, and has huge potential. Andreza and Bela treated us really well, welcomed us warmly, and Bela explained everything clearly. They were also very sweet to us for our honeymoon, thank you so much. We work as travel agents and try to be fair in our reviews, so these are points that need attention, not a complaint for the sake of it. The shower was really poor, with barely any water. I had to wash my hair using the handheld bidet sprayer because it had more pressure. I don’t have high standards for showers at home, but a good wash after a beach day matters a lot. When we booked, breakfast was included in the offer. On arrival, we were told they no longer serve it at the pousada, but would honor it at the one next door, which is cute and serves a nice enough breakfast for the type of place. That wasn’t the issue. I think they should have told us ahead of time, since they had our contact details and the updated information. Not being told left me with a slight impression of dishonesty. Finally, the hair dryer was impossible to use. It made so much noise and vibration that it seemed about to explode, probably because a part was loose. The few times I used it, I kept it far from my head because I was scared. These are details that could really improve the guest experience and shouldn’t take much investment to fix.

The location was excellent, close to everything we needed, and the pool was a real bonus. The pousada was cozy, clean, and well organized. Service was top-notch: Bela and Giovana are lovely, and the owners, Andressa and Aline, were very attentive. Breakfast was delicious, and so was the afternoon snack. We recommend it and would definitely stay there again next time we’re in Noronha.
