Pousada Miragem

Every morning they brought us a tray full of goodies, and breakfast was really good. The place is gorgeous and the people are super friendly. Our room had a view. It’s not right in the center of town, but still close to everything, and the service was good.

The people were very nice, but only one guy spoke English, so I’m giving the place 2 stars. The pousada is very overpriced for what you get. I had room 1, which was tiny, and I had no idea where to open my luggage. I had lunch there on arrival day, and it was barely edible, not to mention overpriced. Breakfast portions were small, cold, and tasteless. We had to order in advance without knowing how big the portions would be. They only clean your room if you ask, and you have to leave the key, which I didn’t find out until I complained. The bathroom window is broken, so mosquitoes get in. The caipirinhas are hit or miss depending on who makes them.

The team made this an AMAZING 5-day stay at Pousada Miragem Noronha. The room had a stunning view, a bathtub, and a comfy bed, and the location was convenient for restaurants, with the beach and port within walking distance. What really stood out was the service. Everyone was helpful and friendly, especially the manager, Clayton, who was very forthcoming and sociable. He helped arrange several trips and a Buggy, and kept checking that everything was okay. We’ve never had service like that in Brazil. We’ll definitely stay again when we come back.

The hotel was renovated just one year ago, and every room has an ocean view. They’re very attentive to details and answered all my questions before I booked. If you stay in Fernando de Noronha, you have to have an ocean view.
